Note: our beloved Lake Lure cabin, surrounding area & Rumbling Bald Resort were spared by Helene & we are beyond thankful for that. But, our hearts are broken over the devastation to our treasured towns of downtown Lake Lure & Chimney Rock & the people who call these places home. This area is eager for visitors to come back & thankful for the continued support & love these beautiful mountain towns have always known. Please come, they need our support!

New to booking direct?
Houfy is a direct-booking platform & works very similarly to Airbnb & VRBO with a few exceptions. Here's what to expect when booking direct:
1) You will not be charged the service/booking fee that you would when booking on Airbnb and VRBO.
2) Once you submit a request to book via Houfy, we'll get back to you about how to finalize your booking & a CC payment link via Stripe.

Child friendly
We have a full-sized crib (not a pack n play) & a full on fun playroom + children's books & toys, high chair & sound machine
Additional Notes:
-Once booked, we will send the house guide (to get you excited!) & a rental agreement + other helpful information. Please be on the lookout.
-We self-manage our Lake Lure cabin rental so you don't have to deal with a rental management company - only us! (& we have all 5 star reviews ;)
-Firewood is provided but we suggest bringing starter logs. Fires must be attended at all times. (inside fireplace not operational June-August)
-Risks are associated with hot tubs; owners not responsible for any injuries.
-Outdoor security cameras are installed
